Walking in a winter wonderland…

…Or not. Excuse me for being different, but I do not like snow. It’s quite nice to look at, but it’s cold, wet and goes a nasty sludgy brown colour after a while. And that colour is AWFUL, darling. Hehe. XD

Anyway, seeing as today was a snow day (second day into the new term, I bet Mr Davidson is loving the British weather right now), I did absolutely nothing. Isn’t that nice? The nice(ish) man from British Gas deigned to grace us with his presence and fix our boiler, which has been broken since Saturday. IN MID-WINTER. Stupid spazzy boiler. We couldn’t even get hot water! :@

However, on the other hand, our Life on Mars box set arrived today. I’ve never actually seen an episode before, but it looked really, really good, so my sister and I persuaded Mum to buy it off Amazon – which was nice of her. XD

Toodles, peoples.

P.S. Like my new nickname? XD

Toodle-ooh, Mr Tennant…

So, after three series and eight specials, David Tennant has left the TARDIS for good (or bad, depending how you look at it). It’s been good, but after so long with an amazing Doctor, how will Doctor Who cope without him? Will Matt Smith ever be able to take up David Tennant’s mantle? Personally, I think so. Have you seen the trailers on the Doctor Who website? It looks AMAZING – and the Weeping Angels are returning. Better pull the sofa away from the wall…

There are just a few things which have been nagging me. I don’t think, personally, that Tennant’s last two episodes were very good. They were slightly confusing, several of the characters were a bit off (the Naismiths, for example, merely served as a function to tie up various strings of the plot) and it was all just a tad vague. The last twenty minutes were weird (with the Doctor visiting his old companions from a while ago) – Martha had somehow ended up marrying Mickey, when she had told us a whole ago that she was marrying a fellow doctor. What I really, really didn’t like about it was that fact that Donna never got to meet the Doctor ever again – but I thought it was quite nice the way that she did get a happy ending in the end. Meh, maybe I expected too much.

And who was the mysterious character only labelled as ‘The Woman’? Was she the Doctor’s mother because of the Doctor’s reaction when he saw her kneeling on the floor, or maybe the White Guardian? (Google it.)

So farewell, Mr Tennant, you’ll definitely be missed.

A New Era

Sorry I haven’t posted in a while – I have something called a ‘life’ these days, which essentially means I can never be bothered to do important things :) My Christmas Present arrived today – 5 DAYS LATE. :@ I’m not bitter or anything, honest. It would have have been nice if the lovely people at Dell had gotten off their fat arses and delivered it before Christmas, but what the hell…

Since my last post, I turned 15 – and my birthday would not be complete without a rave at my house with my bestest buddies. Unfortunately, they couldn’t come, so I had to make do with Jui, Georgia, Mike, Liam, Tace, Iona, Beth and Will. It was oodles of fun – some of the best moments were being inspired by the X Factor phone-in quiz for that week to write our future hit, ‘Angel Delight’, and when I asked Jui if she would like a fork to eat her cake with, she replied ‘You’ll have to take me out for dinner first’.

Christmas, as I said earlier, has been and gone – with the usual annual moments such as “There isn’t enough effing sets of cutlery for the effing table!”. Hmm, that didn’t go down well with my mother though. (I’m sure my language had nothing to do with it.)

*Cries*

Guten Tag. Actually, no. BADEN TAG.

I'm so pissed off - I was meant to be going on the trip to Stratford today, but MOTHER says that I'm too ill to go. Major :( And I missed drama yesterday. I'm sooo annoyed - the last time I missed drama was in first year, and that was then I did art. And the next week, Mr Stokes had dragged me back.

Anyhoodle, I'm sat at home ill again, on my second box of tissues, looking at Wikipedia ('cos I'm coolio) ad spending lots of money on iTunes. Seriously, I don't know why Mum keeps her credit card details on here - she MUST know I'm just gonna spend all her hard-earned dosh. I'll pay her back, though (honest).

It looks like October will be a good month for music - The Saturdays, Alphabeat, Alexandra Burke, Leona Lewis and lots of other musical gems. I can see I'll be spening lots of money.

Oh, and Cheryl Cole can't sing solo, or dance, so her single is a big massive t*t.

Oh, isn't it such a bloody wonderful day? :@

Euch.

As you may or may not have noticed, I'm not in the best of moods today. I've been suffering from a cold lately - and so I got the sum total of no sleep last night. Couple that with the fact that my ears are blocked (which is probably the most irritating thing in the entire world), I've been pissed off ALL day. Luckily, darling Mummy picked me up from school rather than me having to go through the bus journey, so I got home early.

Anyway. I think I'll give a shout-out to Jui, who is apparently a fan of my blog (and also 'cos she's the only one who reads it).

I've just seen an advert for Maybelline Vibrating Mascara - am I the only one who finds that advert hilarious? They must have NO idea what they're saying - it sounds SOO wrong. But hey, I think that may be because I've got a really sick mind. Me and Rosie spend our art lessons making everything we hear into innuendos, it's so funny (when doing still life, "I've got a pomegranate and a watermelon, which do you want?" says Miss Barraclough. Us- "I think I'd prefer the watermelon, and Rosie the smaller fruit.").

Song I'm addicted to right now - Bodies by Robbie Williams - I'm so ashamed. What is really annoying is the fact that I haven't got it. Oh, and I hate Overload by the Sugababes (their first one).

Arr, me hearties...

Wotcher,

Sorry it's been a while since my last post - I hate 4th year already, and it's only been two and a half weeks. I swear school is going to kill me one day - especially English (thanks to coursework) and Art (thanks to the incredibly mouldy still life objects that have already knocked three people unconscious).

Anyway, something amazing happened today - I found that one of the language options on Facebook is PIRATE! It's fantastic! It calls your Inbox 'Bottle o' Messages' and your friends list 'Me Hearties'!! I feel like a little child. :D

Anyway, sorry - this blog is meant to be incredibly satirical and witty. I apologise.

Better look next week, I suppose,

Myself and other animals, mainly my friends.

Greetings,

Looking at other people's blogs (mainy Jui's - love it btw), its the done thing to write something about yourself. Well, if you insist...

I was born a while ago (I really want to do the 'I'm the youngest of three, my parents were older' joke', but I can't really...), in a place called Crossgates in the chavvy part of Leeds (I know, look at me now, you'd think I was born illegitimately in Buckingham Palace or something). I have one sister, Rosieberry, and a half-brother, Urchin-child. I think his real name is Harry, but I don't call him that very often. My parents got divorced when I was six, after Daddy-dear went and had an affair. I now live in Bramhope (which is distinctly un-chavvy), and go to a lovely private school.

I have a particularly fantastic group of friends, and we call ourselves 'The Quadians' after the place where we hang out in school. We're known as 'The Freaks' to the rest of the school, and that's just the way we like it. Isn't it, brap. Most of us are in the Lower School Drama (L.S.D, of course) though I and a few others have migrated upwards to Senior Tech 'n' Drama (I'll give you three guesses).

I take my first GCSE modules in the summer, and the rest the next year. I'm taking English, Maths, Biology, Physics, Chemisty and German, Spanish, RS and Art, 'cos I'm cool. :)

I think that's all. Toodles,
